Terms and Conditions for Kay9 Sitting Services

These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern the services provided by Kay9 Sitting Services (“Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) to the pet owner (“Owner”, “you”, or “your”). By signing and completing the Kay9 questionnaire, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Services Provided

Kay9 Sitting Services offers boarding services for dogs in our home. Our services may include feeding, walking, playtime, and care for your dog’s general well-being. Specific services requested will be confirmed during the booking process.

2. Owner Responsibilities

2.1 Health and Behavior Information
You must provide accurate and complete information about your dog’s health, behavior, and any special needs or requirements. This includes details about vaccinations, medications, and dietary restrictions.

2.2 Vaccination Requirements
All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations as required by law and must have the following vaccinations completed prior to boarding: rabies, distemper, parvovirus, and Bordetella (kennel cough). Proof of vaccination must be provided before the boarding period begins.

2.3 Health Conditions
You must disclose any health conditions, allergies, or behavioral issues that may affect your dog’s stay. Kay9 Sitting Services reserves the right to refuse boarding for dogs exhibiting signs of illness or aggressive behavior.

3. Care and Supervision

3.1 Supervision
While every effort will be made to provide constant supervision, dogs may on occasion be left alone in the home unless you have specifically indicated otherwise in the Kay9 questionnaire. During such times, your dog will have access to designated areas of the home.

3.2 Emergency Care
In the event of an emergency requiring veterinary care, we will make every effort to contact you. If we cannot reach you, we will seek immediate veterinary treatment as deemed necessary by our discretion. You are responsible for all veterinary fees incurred during your dog’s stay.

4. Payment and Cancellation Policy

4.1 Payment
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the start date of the boarding period.

4.2 Cancellation
Cancellations made more than 1 week before the scheduled boarding date will receive a full refund of the amount paid, minus the deposit. Cancellations made within a week of the scheduled date will forfeit the entire amount paid.

5. Liability Waiver

Kay9 Sitting Services shall not be held liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred during the boarding period, except as a result of our gross negligence or willful misconduct. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kay9 Sitting Services from any claims arising from your dog’s behavior or actions.

6. Agreement Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be communicated to you prior to your dog’s stay. Continued use of our services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

7. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Agreement shall be resolved in the courts located in North Yorkshire, England.

8. Entire Agreement

This Agreement, together with the Kay9 questionnaire, constitutes the entire agreement between the parties concerning the subject matter herein and supersedes all prior agreements or understandings.

By signing and completing the Kay9 questionnaire or by paying any deposit/fees to Kay9, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions.
